After 5 years of working committedly and enthusiastically for us, Patricia says: "Good-bye" to Organic Services at the end of this week. She will now move to Canada for some time, where new challenges in new surroundings await her and her family.
“When I started working for Organic Services in December 2014, I did not know too much about the organic sector. That changed quickly and drastically, and within no time I was buying organics whenever I could and making more sustainable choices in all areas of life.
During the five years I worked here, I got the chance of further developing my marketing and sales competences for Group Integrity and Ecert Basic of whose benefit I am fully convinced. I loved the challenge of finding out what exactly it is that a grower group or a certifier needs to be more successful and how we at Organic Services can make life easier for them. Soon enough, I found myself sharing our clients’ excitement whenever an inspection or an audit was due, as if I was part of their team. Having said that, it was always an extraordinary pleasure meeting them in person, for example at occasions like BIOFACH in Nuremberg.
After five years, a new chapter in life is now about to start. I will miss my colleagues, and I am sure it will be difficult to find another employer who provides such an interesting job at such flexible conditions. Being a mother of two children, I could always work from home when I needed to, and ever since I’ve had a dog, I was even allowed to bring it along to the office. I look forward to the future, but I am also sad to leave.”
